Just when you thought there couldn’t be any more lace stitches to discover, another book comes along! The front cover in scrumptious pink sets the tone for all the samples inside. Each stitch is named and worked in one of six pastel or jewel coloured yarns.

After an inspiring introduction is a description of how lace knitting is constructed, tools and equipment recommended and an illustrated section on the basics of knitting.

Instructions for each stitch are easily followed after referring to the abbreviations page, and several pages feature a Useful Tip flagged by a ball of pink yarn. The book ends with a few graphed pages so that a favourite stitch may be charted and kept safe within the book.

This is a truly inspirational book and a delight to browse through. A must for all lovers of lace knitting.
