Enchanting, delightful and inspirational are all very suitable adjectives to describe this beautifully presented book. It is filled with so many projects and ideas for each room at home and many would make charming gifts. However, the stuffed animals are definitely decorations as they include materials such as wire for the cat’s whiskers.
Comprehensive instructions are included and clever use is made of coloured outlines for the pattern pieces. This keeps the number of pages below 20 for this part of the book. Sew Pretty Homestyle is very well balanced in terms of the mix of comments and directions, diagrams and illustrations, and photographs. I really appreciated the photos showing various projects made up in alternative fabrics and want to get started on my first pair of homemade slippers straight away!
