Review by Kath Danswan
This book covers everything to do with machine embroidery from A-Z including techniques, materials, and equipment. There are brilliant photos and illustrations throughout and the format is easy to read.
While reading through the book I had to keep reminding myself that it was an encyclopedia and therefore if I wanted to learn more about any one aspect I would have to look further, but it really whet my appetite.
I must point out that this is a reprint of the original version, first published in 2003, and the only additions are a three-page appendix in the back. However, despite this for anyone starting out on machine embroidery this book is a ‘must have’.
