It is good to see a book that is totally devoted to beading projects. The format is easy to use and has been designed to take the reader through the work stage by stage. The wide variety of projects offer the opportunity for a complete beginner to achieve an end result while at the same time the more experienced beader is challenged to extend the idea to create an individual piece.
The designs reflect Gillian’s enthusiasm and flair for this subject and her eagerness to share and help others to develop and enjoy their skills. A number of different stitches are introduced in the various projects – it really has something for everybody.
The list of requirements is given with every project and the materials are readily available in the UK, but often the reader is encouraged to use what they have available in their bead store.
When using this book there is the feeling that the individual is actually in a class, which is an added bonus for those beaders who have little or no access to classes and workshops.
