HotHive Textiles is launched

You may remember we told you a few weeks ago that we were working towards replacing The Textile Directory with a new-look site. Well as you can see this has now been put live!

The site still contains all the same content, news and features as before but is now laid out slightly differently to make it easier to navigate. In the near future we are also looking at new features we can provide on the site. Some ideas in the pipeline include online tutorials teaching you different crafts and techniques, more competitions, a larger community centre allowing you to meet fellow textile enthusiasts, and a series of articles designed to help artists and designers to promote themselves and raise their profile, both on and offline.

We would love to know what you think of the new site and welcome all feedback and suggestions. So we would encourage you to make yourself a nice cup of tea and spend a few minutes browsing through the site and all the features it has to offer.
