Contemporary Textiles/Mixed Media combined with Photography and Digital Art. I started making textile pictures using traditional techniques and materials based on my subject matter of surrealistic fantasies. I used ecclesiastical embroidery with a lot of padding to give a 3D quality to my work. As time has gone by I have experimented with new materials and technology, using plastics, foam, wire, photography and digital images, and now combine these with the earlier traditional materials. My work is becoming more abstract and I love using vibrant colours and creating pieces that change when viewed from different angles.
