The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair 2009: Call for entries

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, an annual selling event in Manchester celebrating the very best in contemporary crafts, is inviting applications from accomplished designer-makers.

The Fair is a three day event with a preview evening and awards ceremony, which takes place at Manchester Grammar School from 22-25 October 2009. The event was launched in October 2008 and attracted over 3500 visitors to its first event, generating collective sales in excess of £100,000.

The Fair will present approximately 130 of the most innovative and influential designer-makers from across the UK – both established and emerging – and give them a platform to sell their work directly to the public.

To ensure high standards and cutting-edge craft, all exhibitors will be selected by an independent panel of craft experts to create an inspiring mix of ceramics, jewellery, glass, wood, textiles, silver, metalwork, basketry, paper and more.

Exhibition stands are available at the event from £330, with shared applications welcome. Stands are 2m x 1.5m.
