The Arthouse Gallery textile exhibition will be taking place again in the spring, in what promises to be a fabulous advert for textile craft.
The exhibition will feature a range of crafts including wall hangings by Cas Holmes, designer bags by Nicola de Cruz, felt jewellery by Bev Harris, batik by Angela Lenman, wall art by Sharon Baden, abstract hangings by Sue Pritchett, Appliqué work by Anita Soloman, stumpwork by Jane Shepherd, handwoven fabric designs by Alison Yule and machine embroidery by Carol Naylor.
Jacky Silcox, curator of the exhibition told HotHive Textiles, "the exhibition looks stunning this year because of the diversity of work. It really helps bring textile work to the attention of people who would not normally be aware of this form of art."
The textile exhibition will take place throughout March, April and May at the Arthouse Gallery in Sittingbourne, Kent. If you would like to attend then please download an invitation here, which will give you a free cup of coffee in the gallery’s restaurant.
