Regular readers of the HotHive Textile’s website will be familiar with The Project Group www.theprojectgroup.co.uk as we have featured their work several times in the past. The group is an established arts-based community business in North Shropshire for adults who are, or have been, in touch with Mental Health Services. They are now appealing for HotHivers help with their latest project as they need to collect cotton and linen fabrics, such as tea towels, handkerchiefs/napkins, aprons, table cloths etc.
Project leader Jodie Jeffels says, “We are looking for items that ideally would be at no cost to us, such as any surplus stock – even off cuts/seconds. Basically anything of no value to you! Even if you think it is no good we would be interested in looking at it!”
Additionally the group is also looking for any interesting fabric scraps patterned, silks etc so if you can help with either of these then please let them know! You can contact Jodie at jodie@theprojectgroup.co.uk or by telephone on 01691 655140.
