Textile Artist / Designer / Maker

  I love working with fabric, stitching, colour, drawing and photography; connect these to the inspiring surroundings of the landscape and countryside around my home in the Scottish Borders and you begin to have an insight into my quilts, their imagery and inspiration.

  I am a quiltmaker by profession – I make large scale, very special fabric collaged and stitched wall hangings, which I call my STUDIO QUILTS (these have been purchased by many UK Museums and collectors in the USA). I also make a range of usable and functional quilts, which I call ‘Quiltline’. All are special ‘one-off’ unique quilts, made by me.

  I show my work in two major annual events every August – our OPEN STUDIO exhibition and The Festival of Quilts.
