Distance Knitting

Fiona has been working in the field of knitting and teaching both hand and machine knitting since 1990. Her work has been exhibited in a number of exhibitions both nationally and internationally. She teaches knitting workshops all over the UK and has also taught in Australia. As well as workshops on various knitting techniques and talks for both hand and machine knitting she is also almost the only tutor still offering the City and Guilds 7922 Certificate and 7923 Diploma in both hand and machine knitting. The hand knitting course is offered as a monthly class at The Mohair Centre near Lewes, East Sussex (new course starts in January) and as a distance learning option. The machine knitting course is offered as a distance learning option only. She is a regular contributor of designs and articles to ‘Knitting’ magazine and also sells her patterns from her website.
