Profile

My work could be described as a mish-mash of colour and stitch. I use hand stitch in my work as I can be more experimental and freer. Colour is a very important element of my work - the brighter the better. Traditional as well as experimental elements are also important. I Work from ideas, which I produce in a sketchbook by experimental samples and drawings before producing the final piece. The size of the piece is not important, as the piece tends to grow into the finished size.
